The Land of Extreme’s last commercial ends setting the camera to complete blackness. We see nothing save the LOE logo in the bottom left side of the screen as we here a voice with with a soft yet confident tone.
Across the roof
Bird-shadows fly;
The flash of glass
Is like a bird;
The singer in the court
Has made
A song that can't
Unsay the Word.
For wisdom playeth as a fountain
(Those who love her call her play)
She is a cave-trap in the mountain
To those who bridle from her way.
Above the roof
The white bird flies
Along the court
Her shadow runs.
In one light day is born and dies:
The night is dark with many suns.
And wisdom runneth as a flame
Above the rooftops of the mind,
Restoring every day the dead
And leading forth the halt and blind.
Down buildingside
Birdshadows rain,
And glass upflashes
Like a bird.
The singer in the court has made
A song that can't unsay the Word.

After this poem is spoken our cameras slowly fade in to the image of the rooftop on a city building. Large metal objects can be seen blowing out unwanted smoke from within the build while big fan-like objects slowly spin. The sun is not contained in the sky, causing our seen to be less seen from lack of light. As we take in our surroundings we come to a man who is seated on the buildings ledge. His head is hung below his shoulders and his fingers entangled in his lap, as he moves not an inch from his location. His head and face are hidden from the camera’s view, concealed by a hood from the warm-up sweat shirt covering his torso.
Many people would read a beautiful poem such as this and decifer many different things from it. An activist may read the poetry and believe that the bird shadow continuously mentioned represents oppression.
On the other hand an idealist may read the poetry and from the first words of “Across the roof” decifer that the passage speaks of a new beginning, or an opening door of opportunity.
I’m sure I could go on and on with different interpretations of this poem, but none of them would be true. But at the same time… all of them would be true…
That’s the beauty of poetry… it can be translated so many different ways. Though you may not know what the author was trying to say in his message you can create your own and it would be true to you…
Isn’t that what matters, being true to ones self? Not basing your beliefs on that of others... For instance, this Friday…
The man lifts his head up from its downward position, revealing the familiar face of “Straight Edge Warrior”, Viper. Viper looks to be calm yet determined as he looks into the camera with his a small yet strong fire contained in his eyes.
There are a lot of things being said about my match with Rob Van Dam… some good, some not… From what I hear a majority of people within this company believe I’m a favorite to win… should I be happy?
Should I feel that if someone else feels I’ll win a match it instantly makes it true? No… because RVD is one talented man, with all the ability in the world to put my shoulders to the mat for a three count… but does that mean he’ll do it? No…
Rob Van Dam can have all the heart and desire within the world, but for every drop of passion he contains in his heart… mine contains an ocean… for every once of courage for him… is a sea for me…
Viper looks into the camera, shifting his position from on the ledge and rising to his feet. Viper now stands on the ledge of the city rooftop and begins walking, with his only safety net being a hard concrete pavement after a thirty story drop.
Rooftops, they signify the top of whatever building whatever man, woman, or child can be at when within a building. A rooftop is higher than the higest floor in the building, the pinnacle of the building structure.
LOE… is the biggest building of all. Everyone wants to make their way to the rooftop of this building… no one wants to take the chance of falling… Most people in life will wish to climb to the peak of whatever they’re doing, without taking any risks…
How can one accomplish such a feat? Going to the very zenith of a LOE without taking any risks? I’ve never seen a man who plays it safe climb his way to the top of a wrestling company anywhere… and I doubt LOE will be any different…
As of right now I’m on the top of this building… on its rooftop… I sit here from my past federation, in which I had earned my right to get here… but now… I must take my risks all over again… Starting, from the ground level...
With that Viper takes his next step over th ledge of the building with no fear. His body plummets from the high building towards the ground asd LOE cameras run to the ledge to see him, only for the cameras to fade to black before reaching the side.
