The night is still young. Fans have yet to enter the sold out arena for tonight is the beginning of something new, something extreme. The scene we are taken to is somewhere we are not to aware of, there is no ring nor excitement in this area. We are taken to a dark abandoned warehouse. The warehouse is filled with darkness as the only spot of light shown in the area is the light of the moon shining through the few open windows that surround the walls. Many odd sounds are heard, sounds like crickets chirping, owl’s hooting, and the sound of cars passing by. Suddenly, beams of light go throughout the warehouse, the shadows of darkness are no more. The large room is revealed, inside many ladders are set up from a distance between each other. From the corner of the camera view is the figure of a young man revealed. The young man slowly walks over to the ladders and puts his hands on one; he looks up at the top of it, noticing the steal that creates the structure. The man looks down at the cold hard floor and then lifts his head up to face the camera. Aware to all, the man is none other than the risk taker himself, the man who has risked his career and his very own life to entertain fans around the world. The man is called by many nicknames, but will always go by his name, Jeff Hardy. Hardy wears a pair of baggy black jeans with a white towel hanging out of the back pocket, a white tanktop, and his usual arm accessories. Around his neck is a purple Hardyz logo pendant, and his hair is tied in a pony tail. Jeff looks down at the ground once more, noticing the floor that was once walked on by many hard working people, but now rests abandoned and untouched inside an abandoned factory that sits in darkness. Jeff looks up and stares around the building, looking at the many windows that have been broken down, noticing the glass that lies besides them on the ground. He looks up at the lights on the ceiling, lights that have not been turned on for what seems like an eternity. Lastly, he looks up at the many ladders that surround the area, the structures that he has climbed, fallen, and has been punished by throughout his career. Jeff looks at the camera with patient eyes; he gives it a calm look and stares at it. He takes A breath and begins to move his mouth to speak.
Jeff Hardy: Well, here I am…….In the land of extreme. The day I signed the dotted line, I stepped into a battlefield. This battlefield, though barely have begun will be a dangerous environment for all that pass through it. Tonight, I am in the middle of this battle field, a battlefield that holds no rules. Tonight, I step into a war against Satan himself, I fight for what I have yet to achieve. This battlefield has held many fights, many battles before it, but no battle of this magnitude. Tonight I face a man who for nearly his whole life has lurked in the shadows. A man, who, like this abandoned factory, has not been open to others. Tonight, I face a man who feeds off people’s pain, people’s agony, and people’s suffering. Tonight, I face Raven.
Jeff stares at the ladders once more and brings his hand under his nose and scratches his upper lip. Hardy takes a breath and thinks for a few moments before continuing.
Jeff Hardy: Raven has always been in the shadows lurking, whether he was around his friends, family, and enemies; he has always kept things to himself. Raven, is a disturbed person. He feeds of people’s pain and suffering. Raven finds your weaknesses and your fears and dissects it until you are no more. If I am going to beat raven, I am going to have to find his weakness, his fears. You see Raven, I know your fears and I know your weaknesses, I know what you fear and that is the light and the happiness of people. Those two things are the two things that make you the weakest. You think because you have the edge in experience means you have this match in the bag? You see Raven, you may not think I’m extreme but what you don’t know is when I have the opportunity to be hardcore, I take it. I will risk my body, my heart, and my soul to ascend to the top of the ladder like I have done throughout my whole career. Every challenge that has been put in front of me, I have come up on top every single time. The only thing I have yet to accomplish Raven is to hold the richest prize in our industry, the one thing every superstar wishes to accomplish, and that is to become World Heavyweight Champion.
Jeff Hardy takes his eyes off the camera and walks over to one of the many ladders around him. Jeff just continues to stare at the ladders and puts one of his hands on the back of his neck and gives it a quick rub. He puts his hand to his side and faces the camera.
Jeff Hardy: All these ladders Raven represent all the times I have come so close to the top. I have come to the top of the wrestling world. I have climbed to the top of the ladder, but as I am about to accomplish my goal, I fall off it. It has happened to me throughout my life but tonight, tonight is going to be different. Tonight I will take it to the extreme, I will be the most hardcore I have ever been, and I will earn what is rightfully mine. Raven, you might be the most hardcore person to step into the ring but that won’t matter because when we take it to the extreme, I will take all the risks and all the punishment to take you out. I will do whatever it takes to become the champion! And when all is set and done, you Raven will be like this warehouse, abandoned and lurking in the shadows forever, isolated from societies reach.
Jeff Hardy looks deeply into the camera. Jeff then walks his way over towards the door he came in from. He puts his hands on the light switch and presses it down causing the whole factory to once again be surrounded in darkness, never to be inhabited again.
END OF SEGMENT
*Hopefully this could get me the win*
