The scene opens up basic. CM Punk, rests his body in a black lether chair. His long, black hair, sits neatly on his black coat. A pepsi bottle is in his right hand. He unscrews the cap and takes a sip of it. He reaches forward and places it on the small, wooden coffee table infront of him. He looks into the camera. He leans his weight forward and cups his hands together, while resting his elbows on his knees.
CM Punk:
“I know I say this quite often, but it just has to be said, again. Growing up, in Chicago, I learned a lot of important things. Things, that would help me realize the tasks to make a certain dream become a reality. One important thing I learned, and quite honestly the most important thing that I have ever learned, is self discipline. I refer to myself of a man of great discipline, because I am. And the streets taught me that. If I grew up in some… Suburb, I wouldn’t be HALF the man that I am today. I wouldn’t be standing before you CM Punk. I wouldn’t be standing before you, as a Straight Edge superstar. Simply, I wouldn’t be standing before you as a wrestler! My self discipline has made me the man that I am.”
“Another, key, I learned was respect. Now, I have a great deal of respect for a number of people. Those especially being the men I grew up watching on my Television set. Men like, Shawm Michaels, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, among others. I respected my friends, my peers, I respected the brotherhood that was Chicago. Sure, I had my enemies, but when it came down to it, I would take a bullet for anyone of the kids I grew up with… THAT is respect SYDAL! Obviously something, you know squat about! You understand what I am saying Sydal? I am going to build respect in you, if it's the last thing I do! Cause respect, is what I deserve!!”
Punk snatches the Pepsi bottle of the table and take another sip of it. He runs his hand though his hair, and takes a breath of air.
“I also learned… the effects of drugs and alcohol. What they can do to even the strongest of men. I saw the way my own father, my blood acted after he would come home from the bar, wasted. He hit my mother, bossed me around, and overall, was a dick. I knew at a young age, I wouldn’t let the same thing happen to me. Now, my father is a recovering alcoholic and I love him very much, but even he regrets his past choices.”
“All these lessons, all these keys led to my future. My future, is now. After all the traveling, freezing my ass off, for little, or NO money at all, I have made it to the dawn of my destiny. I am here, in the LOE for one purpose, and that is to prove to all of you fans, and myself, that I am the best. That I am all that I say I am. And the first chance I get, I will go for the LOE World Championship! Why? Because, out of all the things in the world, don't matter to me, unless I succeed in what I do. My family doesn't matter, my lady doesn't matter, my morals don't matter, unless I know, I am good at what I do!”
“Sydal… I hate to be the bring you the bad news, but I didn’t gothrough all this pain…. All this suffering, to lose in my first match. I didn’t train 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to LOSE in my debut! Matt, you better hope for a mircale, because that is what it is going to take to take down C…M.. PUNK! And being Straight Edge... means I am better than YOU!”
CM Punk crosses his arms, making the Straight-Edge “X” symbol. He gets up and quickly snags the pepsi. We are left, looking at the chair CM Punk was sitting in. The camera zooms in on it’s old leather, before slowly, closing off all light, and cutting off.
