Camera’s pan around the Hammerstein Ballroom arena as thousands of fans can be seen screaming at the top of their lungs, and waving their signs they made and brought from their homes. Eventually the cameras devote their attentions to ringside where LOE Commentator Joey Styles, eagerly awaits.
Joey Styles: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to the only true home for hardcore wrestling, the Land of Extreme! LOE is back with more excitement, more drama, more action, and most definitely, more blood! A lot of things have changed since LOE closed its doors-
??: Including the addition of the best color commentator in the history of the sport.
Camera’s zoom out to reveal the “Gold Standard” himself, Shelton Benjamin, sitting ringside next to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Well as you can see, one thing that has changed is the commentating team as I am now joined by the recently retired Shelton Benjamin!
Shelton Benjamin: I’m excited, I’m pumped up, and I’m ready for my first night in LOE!
Joey Styles: Tonight we’ll have an extreme amount of pain felt throughout the Hammerstein Ballroom as we bring you some of the most bone crunching wrestling in the sport.
Shelton Benjamin: And the main event isn’t half bad either, as “The Revolution” Roy Rowe, who by the way, I pinned one, two, three in SNME, goes one on one, with the homicidal, genocidal, and suicidal, Sabu!
Joey Styles: We have this and so much more on this first edition of LOE Hardcore Mayhem!
Fans erupt as LOE Owner Tommy Dreamer’s music bursts throughout the arena. Fans can be seen waving home made signs as Dreamer steps onto the top of the staging area with a mic in his hand and a smile on his face. Dreamer makes his way to the ring, smacking a few lucky fans hands and eventually reaches the steps. He makes his way up the steps and walks along the apron. Dreamer stops halfway across the apron, turning to the fans and performs his signature pose as the flash of cameras increase to a blinding rate. Dreamer enters the ring as his music fades and soaks in the fans, who are chanting “LOE” at the top of their lungs. Finally Dreamer puts the mic to his mouth.
Tommy Dreamer: All I can say, is thank you… Thank you fans for believing in me when I thought all was lost. Thank you fans for rioting when LOE closed its doors. Thank you fans for supporting this dream from day one, and letting me know that LOE can’t die!
Fans cheers grow, as does their chants of the three initials “LOE”.
Tommy Dreamer: Last time around LOE didn’t last too long, but it affected you fans so much, that when it closed down, all people could ask me was if and when I would open it back up! And for those critics who have doubted that this federation would even make another show, I’ve got two words for you….. We’re Back!
Dreamer holds down the mic from his mouth and soaks in the surrounding “LOE” chants from the die hard fans in the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Tommy Dreamer: So, without further ado, let’s commence the violence, bloodshed, and pure carnage that is the Land of Extreme!!!
“This Ain’t No Make Believe” begins to play the second LOE fades into the arena. The fans, remembering this cocky heel, begin to boo and yell degrading words at him. Morrison poses at the top of the turnbuckle as he shows off his rock hard ab muscles. He begins to strut down the ramp, arrogantly walking with each and every step. He approaches the ring and coolly walks up the freshly polished steel steps. John gets on the turnbuckle and shows off his abs again, and hops in the ring. Awaiting his hungry opponent in LOE’s first match back!
“Time of Dying” blares over the PA system as the fans erupt with a roar of cheers. Magnum bursts from behind the curtains. His long leather trench coat trails behind him as he spins. He holds his arms up and makes his hands into the shapes of guns, silently pretending to shoot them off. Johnny charges the ring and slides under the ropes. The ref has to maintain Morrison’s position in the back corner. Johnny hops on the ramp and pulls his jacket off. He throws it to the side of the ring. Next, he takes the beanie off his head and throws it into the sea for a lucky fan to grab. Johnny spins off and jumps back and forth… ready for the match to start.
Justin Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen, your opening match will be contested under EXTREEME RUULES! Introducing first, weighing in tonight at 219 Pounds… from Los Angeles, California…. John Morrison!!
Justin Roberts: And in the other corner, he comes from Oakland, California… weighing in at 225 Pounds… Johnny MAGNUM!!
The fans boo and cheer for their hated and loved stars. John and Johnny both stare at each other… ready for action.
DING DING DING!
Magnum and Morrison come in close to each other… they lock up. Johnny spins his arm around, locking it over the head of Morrison. John quickly ducks out of it and backs into the corner. Magnum stares at him, quietly laughing. Once again, the come closer and get ready to lock up… but NO! Morrison hits a low blow, causing Magnum to fall limp to the ground. Morrison cockily smirks and rolls out of the ring. He pulls up the apron and pulls out a steel chair, which he rolls into the ring. Next, he pulls out a table, and sets it up at ring side. He rolls into the ring and picks the chair up, as Johnny slowly gets himself to his feet. Morrison charges Magnum, and as Johnny turns around, John hits him with a thunderous chair shot. Morrison sets the chair down and picks up Magnum’s dead weight, throwing his head between his arm pit. Morrison steps forward a little, positioning himself and Magnum… Morrison falls backwards… DDT on the steel chair! Morrison cockily smirks and looks like he will pin Magnum, but ignores it and picks up the steel chair again. Over and over again Morrison strikes Magnum in the back with the chair. He pauses and sets the chair up like one would sit in it. He picks up a lifeless Johnny and tucks his head near his shoulder. Within the time of a flipping motion, Magnum lays on the floor, grasping his neck as Morrison holds his shoulder after the Moonlight Drive on the steel chair! Morrison pulls himself to cover Magnum… the ref slides in for the count!
1…2… NO!
Magnum gets the shoulder up in the nick of time. Morrison sits on his butt with his hands on his head… in shock. He picks up Mag and throws him to a sitting position and locks in a triangle choke. Morrison squeezes the life out of Magnum with his legs as Johnny pants for air. Moments pass, and Morrison still has the hold locked in… But Magnum is showing signs of life, trying to escape from the hold. Magnum slowly gets to his knees… Morrison applies more pressure, but the adrenaline Magnum is getting from the chants of the fans is too high for him to overcome. Johnny picks Morrison up and slams him into the mat. Morrison twitches in pain, as Magnum falls back, nearly unconscious. Some time passes, and both men make their way to their feet. Morrison and Magnum both roll out of the ring. Johnny pulls a chair from under the ring as Morrison does the same. They both circle the ring till they meet each other. Morrison swings first, and Magnum jabs him in the gut with the chair, causing him to drop the chair. Johnny follows up with a roaring chair shot, directly on Morrison’s head. Magnum hits him again, and again, until John is against the table he set up earlier. Magnum sets him up on it, and punches him in the face to keep him down. He takes his chair and rolls into the ring. He backs up to the other side, and runs towards it. He leaps onto the third rope and uses it as a guide to jump even higher. In mid air, Magnum tucks the chair under his legs and crashes Morrison threw the table. The fans begin to chant “Holy Shit!” repeatedly as Johnny and John lie on the concrete floor... Neither one moving a muscle. Magnum is the first to move. He pulls himself up on the apron, but falls back down. He crawls towards Morrison and drapes his hand over his chest. The ref, remembering the falls count anywhere rule, begins to count the pin.
1 . . . 2 . . . KICK OUT!
John pushes his shoulder up. Magnum digs his head into the ground… astonished. A few more moments pass and Magnum and Morrison are on their feet. Johnny stumbles towards the ring and rolls into it. Morrison follows him, weakly. Johnny gets to his feet as does Morrison. The two look at each other, Morrison with blood trickling from his mouth. The men lock up again, Morrison attempts to hit a clothesline, but Magnum ducks and picks Morrison up, slamming him down to the mat with a back suplex. Magnum pulls himself up, suddenly hit the an adrenaline rush. He bounces off the ropes and knocks Morrison back down as he gets up. He throws Morrison out of the ring… and smiles. He bounces off the opposite ropes and charges to where Morrison is kneeling, but slowly getting up. Johnny dives out of the ring… BANG! Morrison smacks him over the head with a steel chair. Magnum falls limp to the floor. Blood starts to pour out of Magnum’s forehead as he tries to find out where he is. John pulls himself up and rolls Magnum into the ring as blood gets everywhere. John Morrison lays Magnum on his back. He spins around and lays his leg against Magnum’s throw. Morrison hooks the leg for the pin!
1…2….3!!!
NO!!!! Johnny has kicked out! The match isn’t over!! Morrison gets to his feet quickly and yells at the referee. He backs him into the corner scolding him. Johnny is seen coming in from behind. He wraps his arms around Morrison’s waist and throws him backwards for a German Suplex! Another…. And another! Magnum pulls himself to his feet and looks around the arena. He climbs to the top turnbuckle… he leaps off!!! SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! Magnum hooks Morrison’s leg!
1…2…3!
Justin Roberts: The winner of the match... by PINFALL.... JOHNNY MAGNUM!!
Johnny is helped to his feet by the referee as blood continues pouring down his face. Johnny raises his hands in victory as “Time of Dying” blazes out over the arena from the PA system. Johnny drops down to his knees and throws his arms up. He rolls out of the ring and slaps his bloody hands on the greasy hands of others. Magnum walks up the ramp as Morrison gets helped up by two refs. Magnum looks back one last time and gives the camera a bloody and devious smile… LOE fades out.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Camera's pan around the arena, coming back from a commercial break to the exhuberant faces of Joey Styles and Shelton Benjamin ringside.
Joey Styles: Ladies and Gentlmen, welcome back to a memorable show to say the least. We just saw of all people, Johnny Magnum, going to the extreme, with John Morrison, and what an explosive ending.
Shelton Benjamin: I remember beating Johnny Magnum back in SNME, but I gotta say, the little twerp stepped up to the plate and didn't strike out, and I guess I'll say kudos to him for that.
Joey Styles: Now ladies and Gentlemen, let us take you to a much more somber note...
Joey Styles: Well it saddens us all to announce the retirement of Justin Tyger from the world of professional wrestling. Tyger is a former multiple time World Champion in various companies worldwide. It is certain that Soulfire will be missed here in LOE.
Santino Marella’s music blares throughout the arena as fans begin to boo madly. Santino makes his appearance on the staging area. Santino carries with him a microphone which can only mean that fans will be forced to hear him butchering the English language once more. Santino approaches the ring with a somewhat irritated look upon his face, as he slides under the bottom rope and stands in the center of the ring, while his music fades out.
Fans: YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!
Santino Marella: Shut upa your faces!
The fans boo madly as Santino yells at them. Marella regains his composure and begins to speak once more.
Santino Marella: I cannota believe, that I am to wrestle tonight, here in the Ballroom of Mister Hammerstein… it is disgraceful! And what is worse, is that before I, Santino Marella, am to make my debut, you people must be doing the cry babying over the Tyger man, Sawfire. Well mister Tyger man, I do notta care, about you! You are no where near, what Santino Marella is… in Saturday Night’s Main Event, it took you years to win the Custard Championship, I won the title from Johnny the Magma, in a matter of weeks.
Santino grins as the fans continue to boo the arrogant Italian.
Santino Marella: You see, I was superior to Johnny the Magma, and I am better than the Tyger man ever was. Because compared to Santino Marella, Just the Tygers, in no good haha!
Fans cheer as “Break Anotha” interrupts the awful speech from Santino Marella. On the stage appears the familiar face of Cody Lewis. Cody looks out to the screaming fans, and approaches the ring where Santino is currently located. Cody looks ready for action as he steps into the ring. But rather than going for Santino, he goes to the opposite side of the ring, collecting a microphone from a stagehand, ready to speak, he puts the mic to his mouth.
Cody Lewis: Is this thing o- oh… ok… anyway, Santino! I hear you backstage running your mouth about how “The Tyger Man is nothing”, well Santino, that Tyger man happens to be my close friend and mentor… So if you got a problem with Tyger, you most definitely have a problem with me! Now I know Tommy Dreamer has made this match to crown the first ever X-Division Champion, but Santa Claus, it’s just a formality, because tonight, I make LOE history by being the first man to win the X-Division Title, and shove it so far up Santino’s ass that he’ll be puking it out tomorrow morning!
Fans go nuts as Santino looks outraged at Cody’s statements. Santino shakes his head and mouths a few words to himself, before taking off his shirt and preparing for his match-up with Cody Lewis when...
“Out of My Way” by Seether plays over the PA Systems causing a mixed reaction from the fans. Some are confused and eager to find out who the third warrior Tommy Dreamer added to the match is, while others who follow the independent circuit know exactly who this new warrior is. All is revealed as the Viper steps out from behind the curtains to a massive eruption from the fans. The Straight Edge Warrior smiles as he looks out to the people who look stunned and are going crazy at the very sight of him. Viper approaches the ring, smacking hands with some of the die hard LOE fans and taking in the feel of being back in a major federation for the first time in well over a year. Viper finally approaches the ring, hopping onto the apron and looking into the stunned face of Santino, and the confused expression on Cody. Viper enters the ring and turns to the turnbuckle, hopping onto the second rope and making an “X” with his fists, then bringing them down to pound the X on his chest. Viper hops down from his elevated position and turn to his surprised opponents with a grin, ready to make LOE history.
Justin Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the Land of Extreme, X-Division Championship! Introducing first, from Paterson, New Jersey, weighing in at 227 pounds! Santino Marella!
Santino looks worried as he stares at the newest participant in the ring, barely noticing the boos surrounding him.
Justin Roberts: And now introducing, hailing from Seattle, Washington. He weighs in at 190 pounds! Cody Lewis!
Fans pop for the man who had earlier saved them from the hell that was Santino’s voice, looking focused on the task at hand.
Justin Roberts: And finally, making his first major organization appearance in nearly a year. Hailing from Seattle, Washington, and weighing in at 200 Pounds, The Straight Edge Warrior, Viper!
Fans explode with Viper chants, but this doesn’t faze the Seattle native who looks ready to make his debut here and impactful one.
DING! DING! DING!
The bell sounds as the first title match in LOE history is set to take place. Santino and Cody glance at each other and Santino makes an unheard remark. Cody moves closer and Santino does the same, the two men are arguing near the ropes, as Viper watches on. Viper appears top feel excluded as he watches the two men argue and approaches both. They continue arguing, simple brushing off the debuting Viper. Viper nods his head in an almost frustrated manner and runs to the opposite side of the ring, bouncing off the ropes he returns, clotheslining both men from their sides. The two go over the rope they were standing by and hit the ground below hard. The fans cheer as Viper looks hyped up in the high energy arena. The two men groggily attempt to make their way to their feet, bracing themselves on each other. But just as they are almost to their feet Viper takes off for the ropes to the right of where the men had just went to the outside. Viper sprints across the ring, when he reaches the ropes across from him he jumps to the second one and springs backwards, flipping in mid air and landing a modified springboard moonsault on the two men outside! Fans begin chants for Viper and LOE respectively as the three men look to be hurt on the ground. Viper is first to make his way to his feet and looks out to the fans before him and pounds his chest in excitement while the fans eat it up. Santino is grasping onto the ring apron while Cody holds tight to the railing that holds away the fans. Viper looks back at Santino and makes his way to the arrogant Italian. Viper grabs Santino by the head but soon receives a poke to the eye from Marella out of desperation. Viper holds his eye and turn around, only to receive a stiff kick to the gut from Cody. Viper holds his stomach as Cody turns to the railing, he looks to Viper once more, sizing up the bent over opponent and leaps onto the railing, only to leap back, turning his body in mid air and dropping a leg across the back of the neck of Viper, sending Viper crashing face first to the thin padding on the outside. Viper’s neck could be broken as Lewis grasps at his tailbone, all the while the fans in the arena are going crazy. Santino being ever the opportunist grabs Cody Lewis and tosses him into the ring, following soon after and going for a cover.
1……………2…………………NO!
Somehow Lewis gets his shoulder up, Santino looks frustrated as he asks the referee for a three count, only to be declined. Santino stands up and begins to stomp Lewis with some stiff boots, before picking Cody up and tossing him across the ring. Cody approaches the ropes, but springboards off the second rope, attempting a moonsault, similar to that which Viper had used earlier, but just as he is coming down he is caught by Santino who not a second later drops to his knees delivering a devastating Gut Buster. Lewis gasps for air while Santino grins and goes for another cover.
1……………2……………..NO!
Cody once again shows his resilience by getting his shoulder off of the mat, much to the disbelief of Santino. Santino look enraged as he once again pleads for a three with the referee, only to be denied once more. Santino graps Cody by the head, attempting to pick him up and put him out of his misery, but before he can do so, Cody lifts up his arm, low blowing Santino. Marella drops to his knees holding his crotch, while the fans come alive once more. Cody gets to his feet, seeing Santino on his knees he runs to the ropes, bouncing off and delivering a hard double front dropkick, nearly knocking out the teeth of Santino Marella. Santino is down and Cody goes up top, looking at the injured man before him. Cody leaps off nailing a 450 Splash! Cody covers!
1………………….2………………………WAIT!
Out of no where Viper crashes leg first onto the onto the back of Cody’s head, after a springboard from the apron. Viper holds his neck on the ground in pain. While Santino rolls over draping his arm across the chest of Cody Lewis.
1………………………2………………………………3!!!
WAIT! Cody has his foot on the bottom rope! Fans cheer at the realization that Santino has yet to win the X-Division Championship. Santino looks to Viper and begins to make his way towards him. Santino stomps the neck of the young competitor for good measurement, only to turn around to find Cody Lewis, ready for him, Cody delivers an Enziguri to the back of Santino’s head, then sinches him up for his signature Snap Fisherman’s Suplex. Just as Cody locks Santino up, Viper kips up and almost on instinct hits a thunderous Superkick right to the jaw of Cody Lewis. The resulting impact causes Cody to bring Santino over for the Snap Fishermans! Santino rolls out of the ring while Viper covers!
1………………………………..2…………………………………………3!!!!
“Out of My Way” blasts through the arena.
Justin Roberts: Here is your winner, and the new, X-Division Champion……..VIPER!!!
Shelton Benjamin: Joey, in this moment the Straight Edge Warrior has shocked the world, and has just became the first LOE X-Division Champion!
Joey Styles: What a match, what an ending, what a champion!
The referee presents Viper with his newly won championship, as Viper accepts it, and celebrates win the first title of his career, and the first championship in LOE History, on LOE Hardcore Mayhem! Fans blew the roof off of the ballroom at the exciting conclusion and are still standing in ovation for the first LOE X-Division Champion! Among all the celebrating fans though, one seems to stand out more than the rest. He stands atop the LOE stage wearing an Armani suit, surrounded by thuggish looking men in leather jackets. The man is none other than the self proclaimed Don of LOE, Nunzio.
Joey Styles: What’s this? Shelton, it looks like-
Shelton Benjamin: It looks like the Don of LOE has returned home… but what does he want with Viper?
Nunzio slowly claps, surrounded by his Italian henchmen, dressed to impress as Viper stares back with confusion and LOE slowly fades to a commercial break.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Camera's return from the commercial break with the fans electric from a night of extreme as the announcer tells them to prepare for the MAIN EVENT!
The fans cheer Sabu as he comes from backstage. Sabu ignores the chants and heads to the ring. He reaches under and grabs a steel chair, tossing it into the ring. He does the same with 5 other chairs and a table until finally..
The audience breaks into a series of chants for The Roy as he busts from behind the curtain, Johnny Magnum following shortly after. The Roy and Magnum point out to the fans to return the excitement. Sabu rolls into the ring as The Roy and Magnum draw closer. The Roy dives headfirst under the bottom rope and into the ring. Johnny Magnum takes his spot at the corner and the referee rings the bell. Sabu with a steel chair in hand stares at The Roy. The Roy smiles while taking his hat and leather jacket off. The Roy leans over the top rope to place down his attire, when Sabu strikes from behind. He hit’s the Roy with the steel chair to the spine. Roy drops to his knees from the pain. Sabu fallows up with a shot to the Nl…head. With The Roy now on the ground Sabu drops his weapon. He picks The Roy up to his feet and tosses him against the ropes. Sabu drop kicks The Roy sending him right back to the mat. The Roy rolls over tapping his head t try and shake the cobwebs. Sabu allows no room for recovery as he kicks The Roy several times in the chest before going for the cover.
1.…..2.….
The Roy kicks out. Sabu stands up and stalks The Roy. Just as Roy gets to his feet, Sabu charges. The Roy grabs him and swings him around into a sidewalk slam. The audience gets to their feet at the sudden change of pace. The Roy gets to his feet and looks around, resting for a moment. Sabu quickly begins to stir. The Ro reaches for a steel chair. He swings at a standing Sabu who ducks and bounces off of the middle rope. Before he can connect a splash to The Roy, The Roy nails him in the head with the steel chair sending him crashing to the ground. The Roy now goes for the cover.
1.…2.…..
Sabu gets the shoulder up. The Roy stands up and walks over to the table. He pulls the legs out and the fans begin to cheer. Sabu uses the ropes to get to his feet. Roy is unaware that Sabu is now vertical. Sabu sets up a chair, and waits just two feet behind it. The Roy has the table set in place and turns to Sabu who hops onto the chair and launches off like a missile. The Roy catches him and delivers a last call over the top rope. Sabu lands on his side and the fans love it. The Roy looks down at Johnny Magnum who nods at the showman ship. The Roy smiles and rolls out of the ring. However he reaches not for Sabu, but under the ring. He pulls out a ladder and slides it into the ring. Sabu reaches up from behind and low blows The Roy. The Roy falls over in pain and Sabu rolls into the ring. The Roy clutches the apron and pulls himself up. He rolls into the ring where Sabu leaps for a DDT. Just as it seems The Roy’s head is going to go through the table, The Roy pushes Sabu , who lands on the steel ladder. The Roy leans against the ropes, still feeling the horrid effects of the low blow. Sabu rolls off of the ladder holding his back in pain. The Roy picks the ladder up and sets it up in the corner, just a few feet away from the table. Sabu gets up and grabs one of the chairs. He swings at The Roy, who ducks and grabs a chair of his own. Sabu beats him to the bunch and hits him in the head with the chair. The Roy drops to his knees and rams the edge of his chair into Sabu’s gut. Sabu drops to his knees and smacks The Roy in the head once again with the chair. The Roy retaliates with a side swing of his chair into Sabu’s skull. Both men slowly fall over from the bashing. Both of their eyes seemed glazed as the fans cheer on the brutality of it all. The Roy is first to show signs of life. He wraps his arm around the bottom rope. Sabu lays with blood boring from his forehead. The Roy uses the table to stand himself up. Too tired to stand, he falls right back down. Sabu reaches from under the bottom rope to grab whatever he can from under the ring. Magnum stands watching. Sabu pulls out a fire extinguisher. Then looks at Magnum. Sabu is still leaning under the apron and reaches out, smacking Magnum in the face. Sabu quickly rolls into the ring before Magnum can fight back. Johnny lightly taps the his bandaged forehead to see if any damage as been done. Sabu stands up and turns into a pissed off Roy. Sabu backs up trying to make excuses for the hit onto Magnum. The Roy walks forward, backing Sabu up. Sabu makes a quick turn around, and begins backing up into the table. With no where left to go he swings the extinguisher. The Roy grabs it and the two men fight for control of the weapon. Until The Roy pulls back on the nozzle causing it to erupt in Sabu’s face. Sabu lets loose of the extinguisher and The Roy swings it full force into Sabu’s blood lost head. Sabu falls unconscious onto the table. The Roy tosses the extinguisher aside and begins to climb the ladder. He is on the side facing Sabu, looking down at the table. Behind him Johnny Magnum quickly scales the turnbuckle, hops onto the top of the ladder then leaps off with a nearly 20 foot senton, crashing both his own body and Sabu’s through the table. The flashes of the camera’s almost blind The Roy as he looks in all directions trying to figure out what just took place. The Roy then shrugs his shoulders and hops off of the ladder. He roolls Magnum off of the carnage and pins Sabu.
1.…….2.………..3!
Once again The Roy’s music hit’s the P.A and the audience is in awe of the scene. The Roy stands up and looks down at Magnum. He helps Magnum to his feet. The referee raises The Roy’s hand, and The Roy raises Magnums. The two men celebrate Roy's triumphant victory over Sabu, but as they seem to be getting a party under way, the lights go out. Fans in the arena are confused, but all is soon revealed as the lights switch back on to reveal Johnny Magnum and The Roy layed out on the mat, and Raven standing over their unmoving bodies, arms outstreched in his signature pose, as the Land of Extrme goes off the air.
